This weekend I had the pleasure to join so many talented artists to celebrate the book release of Joey Chou and anniversary of the It's a small world song/theme at the Nucleus art gallery. Here is the piece I submitted for the gallery show. I had a ton of fun working on it. It was my first time using acrylics on wood. Lots of fun!

Hey everyone,So this weekend I will be participating at an amazing art show in San Fran to raze money to help support Japan. Below you will find the piece I submitted. It is titled "Band Aid"; under drawing was pencil and colors were watercolors(birds eyes are gouache). the scan came out a bit brighter than the original and also i find it also scanned a bit blurry.... its been a while, i feel that i should have posted sooner.... i am working on 2 -3 projects outside of work and they're taking a while to get finished so please forgive me and stay tune because hopefully i will be done one very soon!these are some figure drawing i did today in the nick!gym!scans from my moleskin... I went straight to ink, i feel its more challenging, you really have to choose wisely your line in order to not clutter the drawing. I used 2 types of Pentel ink brush pens..... enjoy!

hey, this past weekend i felt like grabbing a few drinks but also drawing, not having booz at home, decided to go out to the adventure and draw at the tavern, there is a new place that just opened near my place, it was dark inside, lounge atmosphere, and they serve stiff drinks, got buzzed but continued drawing...... these are the scribbles i got out of the experience, was fun looking forward to the next time!enjoy!

every morning before work i always head to the "Coffee Bean" near the studio and sit and draw who ever is there in order to loosen up and warm up before the long day of work, these are examples of what i get early in the morning (done May_Present {June}). i usually try to get between 1/2 hour to an hour of sketches before work...enjoy!

The other day I went cafe drawing in this awesome cafe and really liked how one of the drawings was turning out, so i decided to continue pushing it at home and see where it brought me.... this is what i came up with after working on it for the past couple of days, I'm not sure what will be her name but all I know about her is that she talks to the volcano near her village. She is some sort of volcano whisperer!hope u like her, i left even the first couple o drawings in this spread of designs, just to show her evolution.enjoy!

ok, sorry i have been a bit distant on the Daily Drawings, I have been tied up with a lot lately, but I have been producing art, dont you worry!! just alot has been researching style and drawing traditionally on paper, got no scanner sorry! but recently got my hands on an old dvd of Chris Rock "Never Scared" stand up show, and i must say it was one of the funniest comedy shows I have ever seen!!awesome skits.... There is a skit about Rap music that was hillarious and Chris starts dancing and I had to interpret it in image!!!!so here it is, my "daily drawing", i had alot of fun planning and drawing this one!...enjoy

The other day I was chilling at the studio, ok so I was working, but while I was taking a breather, I was chillin' with Jack Yu. I really liked his design for his "Ama" character for his film, but had some suggestions that I felt that would make the design a bit more stronger. While I was drawing I really liked where it was heading, so I decided to take it all the way! Here is what I came up with, highly influenced by Jack's original design.

so as some know i was working at the studio at the school for "most" of the break, I mean the whole break!!!! haha anyways the funniest thing i encountered was this old dude in the new open computer area. At first i thought that it was weird to see a late 50 to 60 year old dude in the school logged on to one of our computers. After checking my mail, i head towards the studio again and i saw what he was checking out on his screen while i was passing by. I am pretty sur that he was admiring NUDY PICTURES, because when he heard me passing by he shut the window right away, but i was able to get a little glams of the titties!!!!!!! man i was shocked to see that someone is actually using the school's computers for that usage!! common' man do that at home!!!!haha, this pic is inspired by that event!enjoy

yes finally a new post! please excuse my sketchy photoshop montage that i did to assemble my doodles from the sandiego zoo, its 2 in the morning. after working hard on my film, i decided to finally post on my blog, to inform the public that i am still alive!!mouahaha,. for those who dont know, "The Celestial Ox" was selected and screened this summer in the LA Short film festival, and also was one of the finalist at the Teletoon scholarship awards at the Ottawa animation film festival. The film won the category of best animation in the Viewers choice award. thanks for all your support. so yes I am working on my solo animated film, no its not about animals, these doodles i did when i was at the sandiego zoo. it was the best zoo ive been to so far,it was great!anyways i ll try to keep up on my blog postings, sorry i dont have a scanner so sometimes the pics are off or blurry or whatever, ok im off to bed dudes and dudettes! i have an 8 o' clock class in the morning! peace!
